Taiwan Semiconductorは、PerFET車載用MOSFET製品ポートフォリオを拡充し、コンパクトなPDFN56U（5mm × 6mm）パッケージを採用した40V、80V、100Vの新製品8品種を追加しました。これらの新製品は、低導通損失、高電流能力、高電力密度が求められる車載電源用途向けに設計されています。

主な特長として、40V品で最小1.1mΩ、80V品で最小3.6mΩ、100V品で最小3.5mΩの超低R_DS(on)を実現し、ロジックレベルおよびノーマルレベルのゲート駆動オプションを用意しています。また、これらの新製品にはSource Clipボンディング技術を採用し、パッケージ抵抗の低減と最大175Aの電流能力向上に貢献します。高い電流能力により、DC/DCコンバータ、モータードライブ、ポンプ、ファン、その他の大電流負荷などにおける要求の厳しい用途において、導通損失の低減、熱設計マージンの向上、および高い電力処理能力をサポートします。

PDFN56Uウェッタブルフランクパッケージは、はんだ接合部の確実な検査とAOI精度の向上をサポートします。また、業界標準の5mm × 6mmフットプリントにより、既存の車載電源設計への容易な導入が可能です。

DFN1010-3LWパッケージを採用したESD保護ダイオードは、次世代電子機器設計向けに、小型・低背かつ高性能な保護ソリューションを提供します。従来のSOT-23パッケージと比較して、DFN1010-3LWパッケージはPCB実装面積およびパッケージ高さを大幅に低減し、基板スペースの削減や、より薄型・コンパクト・高密度な製品設計の実現に貢献します。

また、この小型パッケージにより、ESD保護ダイオードをコネクタや保護対象ICのより近くに配置することが可能となり、ESD電流の分流効率を向上させるとともに、レイアウト設計の自由度向上にも寄与します。さらに、リードレス構造により、リード曲がりやコプラナリティ関連の問題を低減し、安定したSMT実装および製品信頼性の向上をサポートします。

DFN1006-2LW パッケージ車載用双方向 ESD 保護ダイオード

TESDA1L2B17P1Q1 は、単一の LIN バス信号ライン向けに設計された ESD 保護デバイスであり、静電気放電（ESD）や過渡的なサージに対して高い耐性を提供します。LIN の代表的な用途には、シート制御システム、ドアロックモジュール、ミラー調整ユニット、レインセンサーなどの各種センサーインターフェースが含まれます。

LIN バスは、最大 20 kbit/s のデータレートを持つ単線シリアル通信方式を採用しています。動作電圧は車両の電源電圧にほぼ等しく、12V 車載システムでは通常約 14.4V です。LIN ラインはバッテリーへの短絡が発生する可能性があるため、最大バッテリー電圧に耐える必要があり、モジュールの ESD 耐性を向上させるために外付け ESD 保護素子の実装が推奨されてます。

20 kbit/s の通信において信号品質を維持するためには、ダイオードの持つ容量は 100 pF 未満が求められ、特に 30 pF 以下が望ましいとされています。

TSC は、コンパクトな SOD-123W パッケージを採用した、ピークパルス電力 400W（PPK = 400W）の新しい過渡電圧サプレッサダイオード（TVS）を発表しました。同じ 400W PPK 定格を持つ従来の DO-214AC（SMA）パッケージと比較して、SOD-123W パッケージは PCB 実装面積を最大 52% 削減し、パッケージ高さも低減します。これにより、PCB実装スペースの最適化やコンパクトな筐体設計に適しています。
