The operating bus voltage is approximately equal to the vehicle supply voltage, typically around 14.4V in a 12V automotive system. External ESD protection on the LIN bus is recommended to enhance module ESD robustness, as the LIN line may be shorted to the battery and must withstand the maximum battery voltage.<\/p><p>To maintain
