TSC Receives “Taiwan Talent Sustainability Action Alliance” Certification for the Second Consecutive Year

Taiwan Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (TSC) has once again received the “Taiwan Talent Sustainability Action Alliance” certification, an initiative launched by CommonWealth Magazine. This marks the second consecutive year TSC has been recognized with this honor. Together with over 500 participating companies, TSC reaffirms its commitment to advancing talent sustainability in the workplace, while continuing to place “people” at the core of its values—cultivating an inclusive, diverse, healthy, and growth-oriented work environment.

TSC continues to invest in talent development through four key strategic pillars: Talent Growth, Engagement & Experience, Well-being, and Diversity & Inclusion.

1. Talent Growth
In alignment with its corporate culture and long-term strategic goals, TSC has established a comprehensive training framework and competency model. A structured training roadmap covering five categories and thirteen key topics supports the development of management capabilities, professional skills, and compliance awareness. In 2024, TSC delivered a total of 1,770 hours of training with a participation rate of 99.4%. The company continues to optimize its training systems to enhance knowledge transfer and core competencies, thereby reinforcing its organizational competitiveness.

2. Well-being
TSC is committed to supporting the physical and mental well-being of its employees. Through a variety of wellness programs—including fitness challenges and incentive schemes such as the “Excellence in Exercise” bonus and team-based weight management campaigns—employees are encouraged to build healthy habits and contribute to a vibrant workplace.

3. Diversity & Inclusion
TSC actively promotes a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture. The company recruits both local and international talent, upholding a competency-based and fair recruitment process to ensure the selection of the most suitable candidates. As of 2024, women account for 57% of TSC’s workforce and 49% of management roles. TSC’s workforce comes from multiple countries and regions, reflecting the company’s international and multicultural outlook.

4. Engagement & Experience
TSC values employee feedback and has implemented multiple communication channels to ensure opinions are heard and translated into action. Regular employee surveys are conducted, and feedback is reviewed systematically. Specific improvement plans are formulated based on input, and key topics—such as grievance mechanisms, compensation and benefits, workplace safety, mental health, facility quality, and job motivation—are regularly reviewed and updated. Additionally, a dedicated online labor-management meeting platform enables employees to access meeting records in real time, further enhancing transparency and communication effectiveness.

TSC emphasizes its commitment to strengthening talent sustainability through systemic, cultural, and actionable strategies. Looking ahead, the company will continue to collaborate with industry peers to shape a more inclusive and growth-driven talent ecosystem in Taiwan, realizing a vision of mutual success for both employees and the enterprise.
